DISCOVER NEUROACTION THE WALKING SIMULATOR

An innovative approach when it comes to rehabilitation practice.

It is a device made for patients suffering from paresis or paralysis of the lower limbs allowing them to perform complex exercises in standing position during rehabilitation.

By actively moving the upper limbs with the aid of the equipment’s motor, it encourages points of
the inert lower limbs to move as well, putting the whole body in motion, and thus, simulating a
walk.

The equipment allows the body to be subject to a natural load while thighs, knees, ankles, and
feet are passively under alternate motion.

It also works on the motion of the upper body portion,
assisting in the development of torso mobility.

TESTIMONIAL

WHAT OUR MEMBER SAYS

Neuroaction walking simulator was a turning point in my condition as a wheelchair user, since the mere sensation of standing again without having to strain my arms to keep me in that position is an exceptional benefit. Can you imagine being able to move my legs as if I were "walking"? I wish everyone with spinal cord injury has access to this equipment!

Jakson Huntemann

Neuroaction, a very good and useful equipment. There is nothing better than exercising for 30 minutes per day in Neuroaction!

Julio Cesar Paulo Macedo

When using NeuroAction, patients have the pleasure of 'walking'. The resulting effects, as improvement in fitness and overall sensation, are felt after the first few sessions. A paralyzed person (paraplegic), upon completing the entire exercise cycle, benefits from relaxation of muscles that were previously in spastic tension, improving the range of joint movement, being free from contractures.

Physical Therapist Danielle Esterfane da Silva

NeuroAction allows the body to be subject to its natural weight in the vertical position and the joints to be passively set in motion: thigh, knee, ankle and foot. Furthermore, it moves the upper body, assisting in the development of the upper body's mobility.

Personal Trainer Bárbara Vasconcelos

NeuroAction allows for the increase of local neuroplasticity, improves cardiopulmonary capacity, increase of circulatory flow, prevention of urinary infections, increase of intestinal motility, decrease of bone loss risk (osteoporosis and osteopenia), prevention of contractures and foreshortening, providing an improvement in the overall body condition, not counting the psychological gains from this type of activity.

    • Consultation with a rehabilitation professional to assess the risks and benefits of the activity;
    • Previous verticalization of the patient’s body, in order to verify their conditions in this position;
    • Assessment of the patient’s ability to perform active rehabilitation;
    • Verification of substantial contracture of limb tendons;
    • Evaluation of the bone joint system, to check for possible substantial degeneration, shortening, blockage or joint locking;
    • General observation of the skin to identify possible eschar in places where the patient leans on the upholstery of the device.
